Farm tour gives personal experience of farming operations

Following on from our meet and greet with Ruby Mulinder (Farm Consultant) on Sunday 7th June, the Trustees along with Mark (accountant), Lance (Farm Manager) and Shaun completed a Farm tour for Ruby, to provide an up close and personal feel of the farming operations.

As you can see, the pasture management, animal welfare and general layout and condition of the farm is in great condition. This is a credit to the entire team, from the farming operations staff and accountancy staff, to past and present Trustees, in managing an effective Trust for the benefit of our owners.

We still have lots to complete, so we encourage all owners to be active participants in helping to shape the Trust for the future generations.

Ruby has a wealth of knowledge and experience in sheep and beef farming and her skills and expertise will be beneficial for the growth, productivity and future development of the Okapu F2 Trust. It was a very cold and windy, wintery day, however this didn't deter our farm tour and it was great to get back to feel the 'grass between our toes'.

Remember to save this date in your calendars:

Saturday 14th November 2020 - for the Okapu F2 Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The AGM will be held at a venue on the farm, so watch this space. The Trustees are planning some exciting and fun activities to encourage owners' participation and engagement including an "Open Day" which could include children's activities, rides, farm history/whakapapa tour, photo booth, time capsule ceremony, Kaihakari and many other activities.
